本手册给工程师们准备了直到现在为止工程设计中关于土工织物应用方面的最新资料。这是一本工作手册。编写这本手册的意图就是使工程师们在应用土工织物的可能性及理论基础知识方面能适应新的要求。本手册分成独立的十章,每一章论述土木工程设计中某一特定范围的土工织物的应用。对每一种特定范围,手册都给工程师们为核算选用土工织物的品级和所能获得的经济效益提供一些方法。即便如此,我们总还是建议,只要有可能涉及本手册的文件资料,应当同样加以研究考虑。后面几章,涉及聚丙烯织物,特别是近十年来已发展到全世界的RIG土工编织物的一些特性细节。最后,希望这本手册将有助于对使用土工织物的好处和在广大范围上应用的可能不有一个较好的了解。
This brochure provides engineers with up-to-date information on the application of geotextiles in engineering design to date. This is a workbook. The intent behind this manual was to make it possible for engineers to adapt to the new requirements in terms of the possibilities and theoretical basics of applying geotextiles. This handbook is divided into ten separate chapters, each of which addresses the application of geotextiles to a specific range of civil engineering design. For each specific area, the manual gives engineers some means of accounting for the grade of geotextile used and the economic benefits it can make. Even so, we always recommend that as long as there may be involved in the manual documentary information, it should also be studied and considered. Later chapters deal with some details of polypropylene fabrics, especially the RIG geotextiles that have been developed all over the world in the last decade. Finally, I hope this handbook will help to understand the benefits of using geotextiles and may not have a good understanding of the wide range of applications.
