新安旅行团诞生于淮安,它的早期成员都是淮安子弟。在中国青少年运动史上,“新旅”写下了光辉的一页。在庆祝“新旅”建团五十周年之际,我们发动全县小学开展“学习‘新旅’精神,争当祖国好后代”的活动。淮安县委、县政府十分重视学“新旅”的活动,指示我们一定要把这个活动抓紧、抓实、抓好。通过学“新旅”的活动,许多小学生决心象“新旅”团员那样:“爱祖国,人小志大;爱真理,在困难面前不低头;爱知识,刻苦学习真本领;爱集体,努力树立新道德、新风尚;爱劳动,自己能做的事自己做。”(新华社香港分社社长许家屯为“新旅”五十周年题词节录)从而把自己培养成有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的好后代。下边,谈谈我们的主要做法和收获:
