Apart from meeting people’s basic needs, Ramen serves as a symbol of diet. It also has the function of recognizing and meeting the psychological needs of Hui people. This particular cultural environment of the diet, contains a certain symbolic meaning. This article attempts to use the theoretical knowledge of anthropology to analyze the cultural implications of this dietary symbol so as to enhance people’s awareness of the dietary culture of the Hui people.
