This paper reports the changes of serum T_3, T_4 and TSH in 58 cases of iodine deficiency and non-ward pregnant women, umbilical cord and fetus. All the observed subjects were induced by family planning. The results showed that both cord blood and fetal serum T_3 and T_4 of ward and non-ward were significantly lower than that of their pregnant mothers, while the general trend of TSH was higher than that of their pregnant mothers.
