大阪大学激光工程研究所已研制出一种100TW啁啾脉冲放大(CPA)Nd∶玻璃激光器,以研究快点火概念。将此超短光脉冲(60TW,42J,0.7ps)聚焦在平面靶上,预形成等离子体,并以“激光Ⅻ”(12束,20kJ)激光器产生高密度压缩等离子体。焦点光强已达1019W/cm2以上。
Osaka University Institute of Laser Engineering has developed a 100TW chirped pulse amplification (CPA) Nd: glass laser to study the concept of rapid fire. This ultra-short light pulse (60 TW, 42 J, 0.7 ps) was focused on a planar target, a plasma was pre-formed and a high-density compressed plasma was generated using a “laser beam” (12 beam, 20 kJ) laser. Focus intensity has reached 1019W / cm2 above.
