Molars to Electron Conversion Test Facility (MECO) will be installed in the alternating magnetic field gradient synchrotron at Brookhaven National Laboratory. A 4.5K-kW cooling helium refrigeration unit will provide refrigeration for four large superconducting solenoid magnets in the MECO test. In view of the performance characteristics and requirements of superconducting magnets in MECO, The cooling method for each superconducting magnet, and the flow design of the corresponding helium refrigerator.
