陕西宝鸡青铜器博物院自1958年建院以来,陆续征集到三百余尊佛造像,其中绝大部分是铜造像,少量为石玉和陶造像,包括从南北朝至隋唐乃至明清时期的精品。北魏至隋唐时期的造像占一定比例,且不乏一些带有刻铭的纪年造像尤为珍贵。明清时期的数量较大,而且以鎏金者居多。从体量上看,小型造像虽较多,但造型优美,工艺精湛。造像的面孔有方颐的,也有丰圆的。其表情也各不相同,有的庄重肃穆,有的面带笑容,和蔼可亲。也有的闭目深
