20世纪三、四十年代,王文俊创办了甘肃湟川中学,秉持“整体教育”的主张,致力扭转以知识为中心的办学模式。王文俊将“多育”并重的理念落到实处;以身作则,倡导并建立了好学研究、热爱读书、热爱运动的优良校风;注重课外活动,将其纳入学校整个教育体系之中;注重群体教育,激发学生的爱国精神;关注学生的自我教育,强调深入每个学生的内心世界。
In the 30s and 40s of the 20th century, Wang Wenjun founded the Gansu Minchuan Middle School, adhering to the idea of “holistic education,” and was committed to turning the knowledge-centered model of school running. Wang Wenjun implemented the concept of paying equal attention to “multi-education”; set an example, advocated and established an excellent school atmosphere of study-hearing study, love of reading, and love of sports; paid attention to extra-curricular activities and incorporated it into the school's entire education system; focused on group education.
