教育实验是众多教育研究方法中的一种,它是对能决定事件的条件进行谨慎和有控制的更改,同时观察和解释由此引起的事件本身的变化。其一般模式是: 实验组:如果把X给予实验组,Y就出现(X—自变量,Y—因变量)。控制组:如果不在控制组呈现X,则Y也不出现。然而,在任何一项实验中,除了自变量、因变量以外,尚有许多其他可能影响因变量的变量。实验的神髓就是控制那些能够扰乱实验者对实验因子(或自变量)的效果作正确观察的无关因子,从而使实验者在有意识地支配实验因子,引起预期的变化之后,能探明自变量与因变量之间的因果关系。
