In recent years, the Soviet Union’s pole vault both in terms of technology or achievements are among the best in the world. Their star, Bubka, has created the world’s indoor and outdoor record a dozen times in a row. He is also the first athlete in history to break the 6-meter mark. In the Soviet Union, there are six pole vault schools nationwide that train a large number of talented people. In order to learn advanced technologies and make China’s pole vault rapidly catch up with the world’s advanced level, according to the agreement between the two countries, eight athletes of China’s track and field team went to the Soviet Union to study and train at the end of June last year. Demand must be concerned about excess In recent years, both track and field athletes in China and the United States despite continuous contact in international competitions, but after all, come and go in a hurry, no deep-seated. Last year, as we have done, the situation of “gold-plating” is the first time that the two countries have concluded their exchanges for more than 20 years. So inevitably a bit worried, at least I think so. When I arrived in Moscow, I found out that this kind of “worry-free” thinking was superfluous.
