On September 17, a news briefing and signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation chain between Wheelset Automotive Services and IBM took place in Beijing. Both parties announced that they will integrate their own advantageous resources to redefine the after-service market by enhancing the better experience of Chinese car owners through the O2O model. Feng Guohua, vice president of IBM Greater China, said IBM has a broad consensus with Wheelbase on customer value and redefining the automotive aftermarket, and strategic cooperation is a shared opportunity for both companies. At present, the main mode of automobile after-service market is a chain, but the future should be a omnichannel network model including O2O. IBM will work with Wheelock to study the future
