本文报告比利时、美国、加拿大等地发现的10例弓形虫性脑炎病人,男8例、女2例,年龄23～56岁,6例黑人,4例白人。病人于住院前1周至18个月均有厌食、发热、不适、软弱及体重减轻等潜伏症状,同时有头痛、精神错乱、智力活动减少。其中9例死于疾病的急性期,4例入院前曾用皮质类固醇治疗,疑及与病情恶化有关。2例在住院时用乙胺嘧啶及磺胺药物治疗发生白细胞减少,因病情恶化而中断治疗,5例伴有结核杆菌、肺囊虫、巨细胞病毒与念株菌等感染,3例病人伴有多器官的播散型弓形虫病。用染色试验及酶联免疫吸附试验双夹心法(DS-ELISA)测定9例病人血清,其中2
This article reports 10 cases of toxoplasma gonorrhoeae found in Belgium, the United States and Canada. There are 8 males and 2 females, aged 23 to 56 years old, 6 blacks and 4 white females. Patients were anorexia, fever, discomfort, weakness and weight loss and other latent symptoms from 1 week to 18 months before hospitalization. At the same time, they had headache, confusion and decreased mental activity. Nine of them died of the acute phase of the disease. Four of them had been treated with corticosteroids before admission. The suspicion was related to the deterioration of the disease. Two patients were treated with pyrimethamine and sulfonamides during hospitalization, leukopenia occurred, and treatment was interrupted due to the worsening of the disease. Five patients were infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Pneumocystis, Cytomegalovirus and Candida isolates, and three patients were accompanied by Multiorgan organism disseminated toxoplasmosis.
