A cold winter night, the outskirts of a vicious hit-and-run occurred: someone driving a car hit a pedestrian, quickly left the scene. The driver fled home after 30 minutes and parked his car in his garage. Still, eyewitnesses wrote down his license plate number. About an hour later, Sherlock came to his house. As the driver pointed out the garage outside the window, he argued: “As you can see, my car was broken yesterday and I did not go out today. Therefore, the criminal who flees is not me. The witness must have remembered the license plate number. ”
