2008年9月《中国摄影家》开始每期刊登刘远看世界的图片专栏,到2010年9月刚好两年,24个月,不算太长,也不算太短。在这两年,《中国摄影家》见证了刘远的成长和进步,历练和收获。刘远的足迹遍及五大洲四十多个国家和地区,到过世界的四极(南极、北极、有世界屋脊之称的青藏高原和世界上最深的地方马里亚纳海沟),出版画册一百多本,举办展览二十多个,是新世纪中国人看世界的一个典范,构成摄影界一道独特的风景。刘远是一个有争议的摄影家,也是一个有鲜明时代特点的摄影家,这是一个颇具研究价值的对象,我们可以称之为一种现象。本期刊登的访谈、作品和文章,既可说是回顾或总结,也可说是一个新的开端。近年来,评论刘远的文章有数十篇,限于版面等原因,本刊从中撷取一些精彩言论,构成一组大家笔谈刘远的文章,这些文字见仁见智,构筑出一个立体的刘远。
In September 2008, “Chinese Photographers” started to publish Liu Xiangyuan’s picture column in each issue. It is exactly two years and 24 months in September 2010, which is neither too long nor too short. In these two years, “Chinese photographers” have witnessed the growth, progress, experience and harvest of Liu Yuan. Liu traveled to more than 40 countries and regions on five continents and traveled to the world’s four poles (the Antarctic, the Arctic, the Tibetan Plateau called the roof of the world and the Mariana Trench in the deepest part of the world) Many books and more than 20 exhibitions are held by the Chinese in the new century as a model for the Chinese people to view the world and form a unique landscape of photography. Liu Yuan is a controversial photographer as well as a photographer with distinctive characteristics of the time. This is an object of considerable research value, which we can call a phenomenon. The interviews, works and articles published in this issue can be either reviewed or summarized, or they can be said to be a new beginning. In recent years, there are dozens of articles on Liu Yuan’s comment, limited to layouts and other reasons. Our magazine picks some brilliant remarks and constitutes a group of articles written by Liu Yuan, which have different opinions and build a three-dimensional Liu Yuan.
