记者:2002年,充满活力与希望,机遇与挑战的一年。中国加入WTO给越来越多的行业带来震动,整个中国似乎从莺歌燕舞瞬间转换到高级警备状态。尤其是国外理念与资源介入中国人才市场,将引起国内人才走向的大变动。有专家指出,中国职业培训与就业市场短期内将有一次阵痛:低素质者要失业或下岗,而高级技术人才又供不应求。作为有关部门的领导和职业培训方面的权威人士,刘司长如何看待这个问题?
Reporter: In 2002, full of vitality and hope, opportunities and challenges of the year. China’s accession to WTO has shaken up more and more industries. It seems that the entire Chinese government has now switched from Yingge Yan dance to a state of advanced guard. In particular, foreign ideas and resources involved in China’s talent market will lead to major changes in the domestic talent. Some experts pointed out that there will be a painful short-term tragedy in China’s vocational training and employment market: those with low quality will need to be unemployed or laid off while those with high-level technical talents are in short supply. As an authority on the leadership and vocational training of relevant departments, how can Secretary LAU think about this issue?
