习近平总书记在文艺工作座谈会上希望广大文艺工作者为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦发挥重要作用,这既是讲给广大文艺工作者的,更是讲给每一个编辑的。时代要求编辑既要做一个铸造灵魂的工程师,人类美好心灵的守望者;又要成为一个财富的创造者,图书市场的弄潮儿。因此,编辑应在三个方面下功夫:在紧跟时代潮流上下功夫,在“眼”和“手”上下功夫,在两个效益的结合上下功夫。
At the symposium on literary and art work, General Secretary Xi Jinping hopes that the vast number of literary and art workers will play an important role in realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This is not only for the general literary and art workers, but also for every editor. The times require editors to be both an engineer who casts souls, a watchman of the good hearts of mankind, and a wave maker of the wealth creator and the book market. Therefore, editors should work hard in three aspects: to keep up with the trend of the times, work hard on the “eyes” and “hands”, and make efforts to combine the two benefits.
