要探测强杂波中的活动目标,高PRF(脉冲重复频率)脉冲多普勒雷达是十分有效的。在这种雷达系统中,活动目标的脉冲数由于天线波束扫描速度等原因而增加时,充分利用接收数据而不增加系统的组成就可以达到改善信号探测能力的目的。这种雷达系统将FFT处理器应用于信号处理部分,取各个滤波器输出的平方,然后进行累积处理。本文将就上述情况介绍输出噪声统计分布、虚警概率以及目标信号探测概率的理论研究。还证实,利用试验装置得到的实验结果和理论完全一致,而且定量地说明,这种信号处理方法对于提高雷达系统的探测能力是颇有成效的。
To detect moving targets in strong clutter, pulsed Doppler radar with high PRF (pulse repetition rate) is very effective. In such a radar system, when the number of moving target pulses increases due to the antenna beam scanning speed and the like, it is possible to improve the signal detection capability by fully utilizing the received data without increasing the system composition. This radar system applies the FFT processor to the signal processing section, takes the square of each filter output, and then performs the accumulation process. In this paper, we will introduce the theoretical analysis of the statistical distribution of output noise, the probability of false alarm and the probability of target signal detection. It has also been confirmed that the experimental results obtained with the experimental device are exactly the same as those of the theory, and it is quantitatively demonstrated that such a signal processing method is quite effective in improving the detection capability of a radar system.
