Research on the basic properties of cellulose ester-based photographic film has been going on, and several important conclusions have been drawn. The degree of trust in Arrhenius processing methods for film performance data has increased as the linear relationship has been obtained after four years of incubation experiments and is consistent with previously reported shorter duration experiments. A long period of study on polyester film based films confirmed the long life of the material and also demonstrated that lower storage humidity had a beneficial effect on the stability of the prepolymer film. A survey of film collections in several film archives revealed that cellulose ester based films manufactured in the 1930s and 1940s still demonstrated excellent performance, indicating the importance of the storage environment and speculated that there were differences in manufacturing . Non-degradable film will be from the adjacent degradation of the absorption of acetic acid film was demonstrated.
