落葵(Basella SD.)又名木耳菜、软浆叶、藤菜、豆腐菜、篱笆菜等,是落葵科落葵属一二年生缠绕茎蔓生植物,可分为青梗落葵(B.alba)和红梗落葵(B.rubra)两种。前者叶绿色,茎绿白色,花白色;后者茎、叶、花紫红色。叶互生,近圆形或卵圆形。穗状花序,腋生,花小,无观赏价值。果实为浆果,卵圆形,直径五至十毫米。幼果绿色,成熟时变紫黑色。落葵茎、叶营养丰富,含有蛋白质、脂肪、碳水化合物、胡萝卜素、C_a、F_e、P、核黄素、胶质等。其中胡萝卜素、V_c含量比一般蔬菜高三至四倍。全株可入药,具有清热解毒、清肺利
