2016年7月,杭州水处理技术研究开发中心万吨级膜法海水淡化单机设计与系统集成技术获得2016年杭州市科技进步一等奖。杭州水处理技术研究开发中心经过多年攻关,于2000年成功开发了千吨级海水淡化工程。此次获奖的万吨级膜法海水淡化单机设计与系统集成是其独创技术,已在舟山六横岛实现示范应用,解决了大型装置配水不均匀、能耗高等技术难题,使系统吨水电耗从1997年的近7度降到了目前的2.6
