(二○一二年十一月二十七日)同志们、朋友们:今天中国曲艺家协会第七次全国代表大会隆重召开,这是我国曲艺界的一件盛事,也是文艺界的一件大事。广大曲艺工作者济济一堂,认真学习贯彻党的十八大精神,总结过去、谋划未来,对于我们推动曲艺事业发展繁荣、兴起社会主义文化建设新高潮,具有十分重要的意义。在此,谨向大会胜利召开表示热烈祝贺,向各位代表、向全国曲艺工作者致以崇高的敬意和诚挚的问候!
(November 27, 2012) Comrades and friends: Today, the seventh National Congress of the Chinese Artists Association is held. This is a grand event for the Chinese song and dance art circles as well as one for the cultural and art circles event. It is of great significance for the vast number of folk art workers to unite together to conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress, sum up the past and plan for the future for us to promote the flourishing development of folk art and to revitalize the socialist cultural construction. Here, I would like to extend my warmest congratulation to the victory of the General Assembly. I would like to express my highest regards and sincere greetings to all the country’s folk artists.
