Recently, after the author visited some large-scale Taiwan-funded shoe factories in Guangdong, there was a surprising discovery: Guangdong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Heshan, and other places are dotted with thousands of shoe factories set up by overseas investment. More than 60% of them are Taiwan-funded enterprises. The various types of shoes produced account for 60-70% of the total production of the motherland. Only Dongguan, which exports finished shoes, accounts for 1/10 of the world’s footwear exports. These shoe factories and related accessories factories are fully equipped upstream and downstream, and thousands of shoe styles are available. If they are not in the Pearl River Delta, they can find all the raw materials, tools, and production equipment required for making shoes. It has become the largest finished shoe production base in the world. .
