近些年来,三明市梅列区始终把学前教育纳入经济和社会发展的总体规划,统筹安排,着力发展,按照《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》和省、市、区人民政府关于加快学前教育发展的意见要求,全面实施学前教育三年行动计划,基本建立了“保基本、全覆盖、有质量”的学前教育公共服务体系。梅列区现有幼儿园29所,其中公办园18所(含部门、企业和集体办园),民办园11所,已评估定级的省示范性幼儿园3所;学前三年入园率达98.88%,位居三明市前
