多媒体通讯系统最终目标是满足用户各种各样的Qos要求。文章针对几种典型的图象编码标准,如ITU的H.261、H.263以及ISO/IEC的MPEG1、MPEG2等,从Qos的角度,比较了它们不同的比特流结构和编码方案,主要包括算法、压缩比特流结构以及性能测试等,最后给出了实验结果和分析。这些比较和分析有助于系统设计人员选择适当编码标准,以便满足用户和系统特定的Qos要求。
The ultimate goal of multimedia communication system is to meet various Qos requirements of users. The article addresses several typical image coding standards, such as ITU H. 261, H. 263 and ISO / IEC MPEG1, MPEG2 and so on. Compared their different bitstream structures and coding schemes from QOS point of view, including algorithms, compressed bitstream structure and performance testing. Finally, the experimental results and analysis are given. These comparisons and analyzes help system designers choose the appropriate coding standards to meet user and system-specific Qos requirements.
