According to Reuters, Manila, November 11, tuberculosis challenges modern medicine and controllable predictions. According to the statistics of the World Health Organization, in the densely populated western Pacific, lung disease is still a cause of death. After the Manila Tuberculosis Conference in 1975, medical experts concluded that the region’s lung disease control has made significant progress in the past three decades. Some experts believe that there is still a need to control tuberculosis among 1.2 billion people in the region. However, there are good signs that the infection rate has decreased in infants and young children entering primary school.
