据国家计委获悉：我国退耕还林还草试点工作启动一年多来进展顺利。初步统计,2000年共完成退耕还林还草38．6万hm2,完成宜林荒山荒地造林种草47．8万hm2,均完成计划任务的102%。平均造林成活率达到80%以上,平均造林合格率达90%以上。截至2001年3月底,粮款补助兑现到户超过50%, According to the State Development Planning Commission, China’s pilot project of returning farmland to forests and pastures started smoothly over a year ago.
