在一些大型企事业单位的机房中,因重要的用电设备较多,所以需要的UPS容量也相对比较大,UPS厂商由此各显神通,借助多功能的产品、各式各样的方案来抢占这部分市场,像串联热备份、n+1并联冗余、双母线等安装方案都应运而生,基本上也满足了这些客户的需求。而一些中小型企事业单位,如银行的营业网点、高速公路收费站、中小型工厂、医院、宾馆、学校、县级及其以下政府部门等,他们的机房用电量比较小,因此一般用5～10KVA的UPS设备就够了。
