云南青铜文化滥觞于公元前12世纪以前,结束于公元1世纪初。迄今发现这时期文化遗存的地点已达250多处,分布在80多个县。出土文物总数约18000多件,其中青铜器约16000多件。在众多的青铜时代文物出土地点中,发现陶器者却不多,约有20多个县的30多个地点, Yunnan bronze culture began in the 12th century BC before the end of the first century AD.
