职工工龄的计算与管理，是政策性很强的工作，关系到群众切身利益。作者着重从工龄的种类、计算方法、计算中应注意的问题等５个方面对工龄问题进行了探析。
The calculation and management of the length of service for staff and workers is a very policy-oriented work and has an immediate bearing on the vital interests of the masses. The author focuses on probing into seniority problems from five aspects: length of service, methods of calculation, problems that should be paid attention to in calculation.
