There are a variety of mechanisms for infection of the body of the clumsy media (hook body). The anti-syringomyces active component of normal serum is mainly responsible for saprophytic non-pathogenic leptospirosis, and sera containing specific antibodies and complement are only effective against non-toxic strains in pathogenic leptospira. Defense of poisonous hook body invasion, may rely mainly on macrophages. Immune and non-immune mouse reticuloendothelial cells rapidly swallow virulent leptospirosis. Lack of specific antibodies, macrophages without killing hook body activity; conditioning can enhance the rate of bite. The aim of this study is to elucidate the non-specific and specific effects of anti-leptospiral infection in macrophages.
