以往,渔民根据各自的需求和经验,将石材、木材、土块等下沉到海底,提高渔场的生产效果,这就是最初的人工鱼礁。作为振兴国家沿岸渔业的一环,日本开展人工鱼礁事业是从1932年开始的,到了1935年开始使用水泥制品作为鱼礁。1955年以后,进入食物匮乏时期,大多数县开始设置为试验用的建造容易且具有耐久性的大水泥制品作为鱼礁。从1952年开始,人工鱼礁成为国家辅助事业。但独立的人工鱼礁事业是在1954年以后。
In the past, fishermen, according to their own needs and experiences, sank stone, timber, soil blocks, etc. to the sea floor to enhance the production of fisheries. This was the first artificial reef. As part of rejuvenating the nation’s coastal fisheries, Japan started its artificial reef business in 1932 and by 1935 started using cement products as reefs. After 1955, in the period of food insecurity, most counties started to set up experimental large-scale cement products that are easy and durable to be used as reefs. Since 1952, artificial reefs have become national auxiliary businesses. However, the independent artificial reef career was after 1954.
