Environmental data and information are two extremely important parameters that, when used in combination with other technical, financial and legal parameters, enable people to develop sound policies and assess the likelihood of their implementation. Information is not only necessary for policymaking or strategic planning, but also a crucial tool for managing and managing these two decision-making layers. In any case, useful information should be relevant to the results to be obtained, and is complete and easy to understand. If data exchange is required then these data must be comparable and easily accessible. In order to achieve a more beautiful environment with more accurate and comparable data on the environment, the European Union has enacted a number of legal provisions (guiding provisions, parliamentary and committee decisions, etc.). After introducing some of the common elements of information requirements, this article outlines the water information policies of the five European countries. This article also presents a special report to the European Environmental Protection Agency, the European Information Policy.
