目的探讨了万寿菊主要提取物叶黄素对实验性高脂大耳白兔的血管组织结构及生化指标的作用。方法采用超声法提取叶黄素,高脂饲料喂养家兔建立高脂血症和动脉粥样硬化模型。使用叶黄素连续给药4周,采用试剂盒分别测定血清总胆固醇(TC)、三酰甘油(TG)、高密度脂蛋白(HDL-C)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)及天冬氨酸转氨酶(AST)、肌酸激酶(CK)、血浆内皮素(ET)、一氧化氮(NO)和环磷酸鸟苷(c GMP)含量,取主动脉,观察动脉斑块面积并进行病理学检查。结果叶黄素高剂量组能降低家兔血清中TC、TG、LDL-C含量(P<0.05),升高血浆NO、c GMP水平(P<0.05),减少ET生成(P<0.05),降低主动脉粥样硬化病理变化。结论万寿菊主要提取物叶黄素通过调节血脂代谢、升高血浆NO、c GMP含量,减少ET生成等方式达到抗动脉粥样硬化的作用。
Objective To investigate the effect of lutein, a major extract of marigold, on the vascular structure and biochemical parameters in experimental hyperlipidemic rabbits. Methods Ultrasound extraction of lutein, high fat diet fed rabbits to establish hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis model. Lutein was administered continuously for 4 weeks. The levels of serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) AST, CK, ET, NO and cGMP were measured. The aorta was taken and the area of atherosclerotic plaque was observed Pathological examination. Results The high dose of lutein could decrease the content of TC, TG and LDL-C in serum (P <0.05), increase the levels of NO and c GMP in plasma (P <0.05), decrease ET formation (P < Atherosclerosis pathological changes. Conclusion Lutein, the main extract of marigold, achieves anti-atherosclerotic effects by regulating blood lipid metabolism, increasing plasma NO and c GMP levels and decreasing ET production.
