In the early 1950s, British scholar Arid et al. first reported that gastric cancer is related to blood group A. Since then, domestic and foreign scholars have done some research on the relationship between blood type and tumor, and accumulated valuable information. Shantou area is a high incidence area of esophageal and cardiac cancer. To explore the relationship between this disease and ABO blood group, we investigated 1,075 cases of esophageal and cardiac cancer in Shantou area, including 584 cases of esophageal cancer and 491 cases of cardiac cancer. The report is as follows: I. Materials and Methods The blood type of patients with esophageal and cardiac cancer was taken from 1974 to 1980.
