热塑合成材料PEEK(Polyetheretherketon)特殊的热承载能力使由工程合成材料制成的齿轮的应用有了更广阔的前景。作者将该合成材料—钢配对齿轮与常规热塑材料(聚氧亚甲和尼龙)进行了比较,包括其寿命和传动效率。作者发现,在单齿动态脉动弯曲试验中,齿根尚有明显的承载裕量,而在传动试验中,作用齿面形成的裂纹导致齿的断裂。
Thermoplastic composite PEEK (Polyetheretherketon) The special thermal load carrying capacity of gears made of engineered synthetic materials offers a broader perspective. The author compared the synthetic material, the steel counter gear, to conventional thermoplastic materials (polyoxymethylene and nylon), including their life and transmission efficiency. The authors found that in the single tooth dynamic pulsation bending test, there is a clear bearing margin for the tooth root, whereas in the transmission test, cracks formed on the tooth flanks cause tooth breakage.
