作者用一种富含β-胡萝卜素的耐卤素藻Dunaliella bardwil作为大鼠饲料中视黄醇与β-胡萝卜素的来源进行实验,这种藻中的β-胡萝卜素是由几乎等量的9-顺及全反异构体组成(50%为全反胡萝卜素,其余绝大部分为9-顺胡萝卜素,少量为其他异构体)。实验动物为Charles River系CD大鼠,在饲喂缺乏视黄醇饲料60天后,分成9组,每组6只,单笼饲养。Ⅰ组:添加视黄醇(7.5 mg/kg饲料);Ⅱ~Ⅳ组:添加合成的全反式β-胡萝卜素12、29或48mg/kg饲料;Ⅴ~Ⅶ组:添加冻干藻(含β-胡萝卜素29、58或112mg/kg饲
