王荣生博士在其专著《语文科课程论基础》中,分拨了语文课程内容、语文教材内容、语文教学内容所归属的不同层面,辩明了三者之间的关系,为我们鉴别和解决当前语文教育在课程、教材、教学不同层面上的问题,为语文教材的研究提供了十分有益的思路。然而由于语文教材的研究沉疴已久,我们对语文教材诸多问题,还有许多尚未明确的地方。比如,语文教材究竟涵盖着哪些要素和内容?“语文教材的内容”
