Under the impact of the international financial crisis in 2007-2008, the inflation rate in the major western developed countries continued to drop, while the rate of economic growth dropped sharply. Such economic conditions have exacerbated fears of deflation. Since 2009, with the spread and aggravation of the global financial crisis, the world economy has been in the worst recession since the Second World War, and the inflation rate in major countries has even hit a zero threshold.
