Asafiyev once said: “Geniuses are geniuses that are good at creation, but they are good at not enough to be able to combine this quality with the perceived laws of the neurotic era. It must be a matter of visual acuity, including hearing, accessible within the unity of opposites. ”It is no exaggeration to say that the contemporary Soviet Union’s renowned composer Shchedrin perfectly embodies this quality, and his work is dedicated to the direct perception of the modern man. Rodion Shchedrin was born in 1932, founded by the Association of Composers in the Soviet Union, and is now the chairman of the composer association of the Russian Federation. He was awarded “Medal of Honor” (1967) and “Medal of Red Flags” (1971) for his contribution to the art of music. In 1981, he was awarded the title of actor of the Soviet Union and won the Lenin prize in 1984.
