钛以其诱人的特性在汽车行业中有很大的应用潜能。其高强度 ,低密度和优良的耐腐蚀性 ,不仅可用于汽车驱动装置 ,也可应用到汽车底盘上。多年以来 ,赛车制造商就用钛来制造发动机气门和连杆。由于钛气门和连杆具有更大的转矩和输出功率以及更小的部件挠度而使其性能得到提高。
Titanium with its attractive features in the automotive industry has great potential applications. Its high strength, low density and excellent corrosion resistance can be applied not only to automotive drives but also to the chassis of a car. Over the years, car makers have used titanium to make engine valves and connecting rods.
