文本在深入调研国内外有关地名翻译研究文献的基础上,探讨了边疆多民族地区与内地其他省份地名英译的区别,提出已有的《汉语拼音方案》和《少数民族语地名汉语拼音字母音译转写法》是边疆多民族地区地名英译的统一规范。出于时代发展和地名规范化的需要,边疆多民族地区地名英译还须以社会语言学理论为基础,从政治层面把关,从“一体多元”与跨文化交际视角仔细考量,为边疆多民族地区的地名英译工作提供参考和借鉴,有效推动中华文化的一体多元。
Text Based on a thorough investigation of domestic and international literary translation studies, this paper discusses the differences between geographical names translation in border areas of multi-ethnic border areas and other provinces in the Mainland, and proposes the existing “Hanyu Pinyin scheme” and “transliteration of Chinese pinyin letters Transliteration Law ”is the unified norms of English translation of geographical names in the multi-ethnic border areas.
