In the 1950s during the “Great Leap Forward”, worker novels had been very popular. The second generation of workers from the grassroots factories writers, has a rich experience of life of workers. In addition, due to the particularity of the writer’s own class origin, the profound recognition and empathy of the worker’s individual life makes the short stories they create more personalized in the age of the collective singing era. It is indeed commendable that individualized characters, individual affectionate writing and individual reflective writing in short stories hide the author’s rational thinking of the reality and the relatively independent personality.
