王殿翔教授是我国著名的药学教育家和药物化学家。他毕生从事药学教育和药物化学研究工作。解放前,在旧社会非常困难和简陋的条件下,同药学教育界的一些老专家、老同事一道,为培养我国药学人材尽了很大努力。全国解放后,王殿翔教授在党的领导和关怀下,积极参加抗美援朝、土地改革和思想改造等政治运动,努力学习马列主义毛泽东思想,思想认识和政治觉悟不断提高,意气风发地为发展新中国的药学事业,培养药学人材,作出了很大的努力和积极的贡献。在长期的药学教育和科学研究工作实践中,王殿翔教授深刻地认识到新旧社会的不同,他热爱新中国,热爱党和毛主席,热爱社会主义,决心献身于建设社会主义和共产主义的壮丽事业,1956年3月光荣地参加了中国共产党。十年浩劫,使王殿翔教授身心受到摧残,旧病复发,经医治无效,于1970年4月18日不幸逝世,终年57岁。
Professor Wang Dianxiang is a famous pharmacy educator and drug chemist in our country. He lives in pharmaceutical education and pharmaceutical chemistry research. Before the liberation, under the very difficult and crude conditions of the old society, along with some veteran experts and old colleagues in the pharmaceutical education circles, great efforts were made to cultivate the pharmaceutical talents in our country. After the liberation of the country, under the leadership and care of the party, Professor Wang Dianxiang actively participated in political campaigns such as the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, land reform and ideological reorganization, worked hard to study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, his ideological understanding and political awareness, and spared no time in developing the pharmaceutical industry in new China Career, training pharmacy personnel, made a great effort and positive contribution. In the long-term practice of pharmacy education and scientific research, Professor Wang Dianxiang profoundly understands the difference between the new and the old society. He loves New China, loves the party and Chairman Mao, loves socialism, and devotes himself to the magnificent cause of building socialism and communism , March 1956 gloriously participated in the Chinese Communist Party. Ten years of catastrophe, Professor Wang Dianxiang physically and mentally destroyed, the recurrence of old disease, the medical invalid, died on April 18, 1970 unfortunately, at the age of 57 years.
