敦煌壁画第257窟中的《九色鹿本生故事》根据文本改编图绘而成。与文本比较,它删除了描述性的细节,将故事情节简化,以突出故事冲突。在构图上,它则采用了从两边分别叙述在图像中间冲突结尾的方法,深刻生动。这种创作方式与佛教画宣扬佛教道义的目的有着密切的关系。
Dunhuang murals Cave 257 in the “nine-colored deer Bunsen Stories” based on text adapted from the map drawn. Compared with the text, it removes the descriptive details and simplifies the story to highlight the conflict in the story. In composition, it uses a deep and vivid way of narrating the end of the conflict in the middle of the image from both sides. This method of creation is closely related to the purpose of Buddhism painting to promote Buddhist morality.
