】健美操有着自身的固有价值和魅力，深受群众喜爱，在我国蓬勃发展，逐步走向成熟。为了进一步对健美操的发展有一个全面的了解和认识，更好地指导教学训练，笔者通过对１９９６年第三届全国工人运动会“扳倒井”杯健美操大赛的研究，对当前健美操发展的“新、巧、难的统一性”，“身体运动形态的优美性”，“竞技能力的综合性”，“训练的长期性，科学性”等主要特征，从实践到理论进行了较为深入的论述。
