“十五”时期,武汉市委、市政府树立和落实科学发展观,以奋发有为、开拓进取的精神状态,牢牢抓住发展这个党执政兴国的第一要务,坚决贯彻国家宏观调控政策,全市“十五”计划确定的经济社会发展主要目标提前全面实现。固定资产投资、规模以上工业增加值、进出口总额和财政收入等4项经济指标实现成倍增长,其它各项重要经济和社会发展指标也有新的突破。“十五”目标任务的胜利完成,使全市综合实力和人民生活又迈上了一个新台阶,为武汉“十一五”和未来一个时期经济社会又快又好地发展奠定了良好基础。
