The Journal of Engineering Design is the Chinese version of the sister magazine Konstruktion, a well-known German publication of Springer Press. It is the first international publication of technical product design officially approved by the Chinese government. One of its features is that it also introduces the latest papers from German authors to Chinese readers while publishing research papers that reflect the research results of engineering technology product design theories, methods and technologies in China and their applications in industry. Journal of Engineering Design publishes innovative and cutting-edge, high-level basic research in the field of engineering design and its emerging interdisciplinary field.
