Meloidagrne incognila is an important plant parasitic nematode. Its reproductive rate is lower than other pathogens and its population is more stable (Seinhorst, J.W., 1970). Therefore, the initial density of nematodes in the soil before crop planting is closely related to the final density after harvesting. As the initial density of nematode affects the growth of crops, and the final nematode density affects the initial density of the next season, understanding the variation of the number of plant parasitic nematodes is to select the control measures, determine the rotation years and carry out comprehensive management An important basis. The authors used the pot experiment in 1988 to study the relationship between the reproductive potential of M. incognita on tobacco and the relationship between the reproduction rate and the initial density of nematode. Preliminary results were obtained.
