In the fifth issue of “Tennis” magazine, there is an article written by Mr. Lin Bingchao, head coach of the Hong Kong Tennis Association, “Fourteen, the Weakness of Professional Tennis in Asia”. After reading, I have a lot of thoughts. I think there are at present two reasons for asking us to discuss this issue one more time. These two reasons are: First, more and more young people in China have already participated in the systematic training of tennis outside the “system” . In China, tennis training needs to be improved both in concept and in practice. This has become an important reason for hindering the flow of Chinese social resources into the tennis field. At the same time, these “out-of-system” teenagers There is a strong demand for a variety of new tennis concepts. Mr. Lin Bingchao listed many questions in the article, and I share the same feeling. At the same time, I also think that the most important issue in this stage of China is “educating parents.” Because parents are the masters of the process of adolescent growth, policy makers, tennis investors, tennis clubs, management centers and corporations in Asia are now offering their sponsorship only when they see the results . Therefore, parents must understand: First, their children are not professional “stuff”; Second, if it is “this piece of material”, how to choose the right path for development of their children.
