叶辛同志: 久未通信,十分系念。你主编的《山花》每期我都收到,我都有选择地翻阅一些,它使我知道许多家乡的新信息、新人、新事,我十分高兴和快慰。可惜我一直没有寄过一篇文章给你,这是我非常遗憾而感到对不起你和编辑部的地方。昨天夜里,已经十点钟了,我拿起《山花》今年四月号,张克的报告文学《山水情》引起了我的重视。我花了两小时的时间,兴奋而又感兴趣地读完了这篇报告文学。它不仅引起我对家乡那些美丽如画的风景的爱恋、向往和赞赏,增加了我这个贵州人的光荣感;更增添了我对我的老朋友、老同志徐健生同志的怀念和尊敬。在他年逾七十的高龄还为探索家乡——不,是我们伟大祖国——的山山水水而奔波跋涉;为寻找和丰富我国旅游资源宝库以及开拓人民致富之路而奋不顾身,甚至晕倒在铜仁九龙洞前。
